The Sparkling Secret of Blanc de Blancs
Our Blanc de Blancs, meaning white wine from white grapes, is made in Vertus in the Côte des Blancs region where Chardonnay grows best. Major houses Veuve Clicquot, Moet & Chandon and Bollinger are not able to sell Blanc de Blancs because they don't have access to the Côte des Blancs land and must depend on purchasing red grapes, Pinot Noir and Meunier, for their blends.
This exceptional quality bright and elegant Champagne has a cascade of fine bubbles and notes of citrus and candied fruit, with a crisp, richly rounded and refined finish.
It has a low dosage, just 7g of sugar per liter or <1g sugar per glass so you can taste the signature salinity of the Côte des Blancs region that comes from sea deposits in the soil. It is vegan, nothing from an animal is used at any stage in the process and it is classified low sulfite wine at <50mg per liter.
